Creekside Cottage near the Hiawassee and the Ocoee

The cottage has a breathtaking view of the Chilhowee mountain starting in September and last through the winter. It is visible from the dining room, living room, master bedroom, front porch, and back deck. There are three outdoors tables with chairs. It sleeps six comfortably with the option of an air mattress for extra people. It has a creek in the yard. It is 8 miles to the Ocoee river and the Hiwassee. Because you are in the National Forest there will be no shortage of parks to visit.

Arrive at Hiwassee Acres, our farm, and horse ranch and let us get you into our newly remodeled two bedroom one and a half bathroom townhome. Each upstairs bedroom is spacious with a queen bed and a view of the beautiful fields in front of the unit. The main bathroom has recently been remodeled and is convenient to both bedrooms. Downstairs, is the living room with a flat screen TV, dining area, a full kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker and a half bath with washer and dryer just for you!

“On The River”

We have a climate controlled sunporch. Cable, Wi-Fi, Netflix. Handicap accessible. Kayaks and tubes available; about a 2 mile float from Ocoee dam #1 down to the dock. There are three levels of docks at the river. Gas/charcoal grill. Also, there is a fire pit with plenty of wood. The river is controlled by TVA, it's usually down in the morning so you can explore and swim, kayak and fish. Most afternoons the river is flowing for a lazy float down to our easy and accessible dock.

“On River Time”

Disconnect from daily stress and enjoy uninterrupted quality time with your loved ones at the secluded 'On River Time' in the woods, great for fishing trips, romantic escapes, and family retreats! No pets are allowed on the property at any time. Including other visitors. We take pride in making sure each guest walks into a clean and polished home for their stay. Linens are sanitized and inspected before and after each guest so that you don't have to worry about cleanliness.

Arrive at Hiwassee Acres, our farm, and horse ranch and let us get you into our new studio suite in our nature lodge. This suite is complete with a queen bed, full sized kitchen, dining area, sitting area, bathroom with a tile shower, and a wall mounted TV that swivels! And, if you want to remain connected, we include good quality internet access! Our lodge has an upstairs work space, and a full lobby downstairs - a great place to hang out with your friends. NO CLEANING FEES!
