Stylish New Forest rural hideaway near Lymington

Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Beautifully restored 400-year-old cottage, smallest house in Lymington, an ideal cosy retreat for couples complete with a peaceful private garden. Close to the historic coastal town of Lymington and railway station, an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history plus interesting architecture much of which is Georgian and Victorian. Cosy living space, wifi, smart TV, kitchen and bathroom with large shower, bedroom with king size bed. It also includes a lockable undercover storage for two bikes.

It has rustic charm with country modern facilities and is situated in a peaceful rural lane which leads directly onto the forest. It is very near to the coast and the bustling Georgian market town of Lymington where you can also find the Isle of Wight ferry terminal ( 30 mins crossing ) or charter a yacht and sail yourself. Otherwise enjoy a ramble from your door across the forest but watch out for donkeys !

A cosy wood cabin located where forest and sea meet in the market town of Lymington, we are walking distance from the town quay and high street which offers many restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the outstanding Saturday market. A few minutes drive will take you out into the New Forest where you may see the ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs which roam free. The studio is set in a fenced off area of our garden which is secure and dog friendly, we offer off street parking and bike storage.

Juliet House

Juliet House is in the perfect location to explore Lymington and the New Forest. Just a few minutes walk from both the town centre and the train station but tucked away in a quiet street. The house has a lovely bright sitting room with a Juliet window with balcony doors. There are two bedrooms, one with a double size bed and ensuite and the other with a single bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, grill, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher.

The Glade at Ladyhill Vineyard near Winchester

Nestled on the edge of an ancient wood in South Downs National Park and with fantastic views over Ladyhill Vineyard and the Hampshire countryside The Glade has a cosy A-Frame to grab a good night sleep, a separate shower room with flushable loo to keep you fresh and a kitchen equip-for-easy glamping. Relax and admire the views, BBQ on the fire pit, spot deer and hare or stroll down the river Itchen to The Bush gastro pub. You’ll return home totally refreshed!

The Lodge at Cherrytree cottage

Situated on the outskirts of the village of Pilley is a self contained unit comprising of a bedroom with an en suite shower room, kitchen/diner and a lounge. It is in the grounds of Cherrytree cottage with access to the large bottom half of the garden including use of the summerhouse and loungers. The Lodge has a designated parking spot off road within the grounds of Cherrytree cottage.

The Baker's Lodge

The Baker’s Lodge is a self-contained guesthouse offering the perfect retreat for couples or solo travellers. Set in a quiet village, the lodge is within walking distance of the forest, local pub and village shop. Lymington and Brockenhurst are both just a 10-minute drive away, making it an ideal base for exploring the New Forest’s ancient woodland, wild ponies and nearby beaches.

The Keep at Greenshadows

The Keep is tastefully furnished, spacious and enjoys privacy within the grounds of the main house above the owners car port. It is accessed via its own private staircase and affords stunning views over fields to the rear of the property. Accommodates two adults although there is also a sofa bed which would suit a child over 12 years of age.
