Our home is 5 minutes away from McMurry University and 10- 15 minute drive to ACU, and Hardin-Simmons University. It has been totally renovated and updated and just might be the cutest "steampunk themed tiny house with a sleeping loft" anywhere, much less Abilene. Just minutes from downtown, the SoDA District, The Mill, bars and nightlife, all three universities and Dyess AFB. Our Historic Sayles Loft is perfectly located for one night, a weekend, or more! It’s a tiny space, so two guests is the limit!

The cabin is located on a gated and fenced six acre property just outside of Buffalo Gap offering great security to our guests. It’s a quiet country place but only 10 miles from the Mall of Abilene. It’s very close to the Abilene state park, the historic village, Beltway Park Church, Wylie and Jim Ned Schools, and the world famous Perini Steakhouse. It is about 20 minutes from ACU or HSU. The property and surrounding area is great for walks and there is a Dollar General close by.

Little House in the Backyard

This new backyard guest house is on a tree-lined street. Full kitchen with gas range is perfect for weekend dinners or to stay longer. The decorative welcome sign folds up to a table for two. The living room is a perfect place to unwind with WiFi and AppleTV or an assortment of books. It is pet friendly and can accommodate kids on floor pallets, if needed. This house is in our family's backyard, but we make sure you have a private stay.

Simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. We accept pets, but no cats due to our allergy, sorry!! Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!
