The Fishermans Haven with Private Dock

Waterfront retreat with private dock. Take a break and unwind. This rustic cabin on the HILLSIDE and is nestled in the cove at Claytor Lake. First bedroom has queen bed with a chest of drawers and a smart-tv. 2nd bedroom had a full bed. Living area has a pull out twin size futon. An air mattress is available. Enjoy great fishing, swimming or just grilling out and sitting on the dock. It’s a great getaway for couples or small families, or for Radford graduation or VA Tech games/graduation.

New River Trail Cottage

Built in 1880 by Dr. A.C. Shepherd, this historic cottage has served as a doctor’s office, a general store, and a boarding house. The cottage is located at marker p12 on the New River Trail. From the wrap around porch, you can listen to the rapids cascading into Claytor Lake. A boat launch is conveniently located less than 1/2 mile away offering free river access. (Please note that the river is not directly accessible from the property). It is the perfect location to play, relax, or both!

Constructed from two old tobacco barns (with fireplace), this property provides a unique experience-connecting the past & present. The cabin is surrounded by nature’s beauty and Big Reed Island river flows only feet from the front porch. Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Room comes with living room area, tv, king size bed, large private master bath, ability to set temperature (within range).
