Charming Hillside Country Home

This beautiful mid-century house was designed and built by my father. My husband’s parents, Amy and Bob, bought it from my parents’ estate and renovated it. It is filled with light, books and original art. Being inside feels like being outside. It is furnished much as it was when my in-laws moved out, with many of Amy’s paintings. It is not a new or fancy house, but it is authentic and quite a splendid example of mid-century architecture! I hope that you love it as much as I love to share it!

The main floor features a spacious living room with a 55" Roku TV, a dining area with seating for six, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 queen bedrooms with premium bedding, and a full bathroom. Downstairs, the finished basement offers a king bedroom, a second full bathroom, a large rec room with 55" TV, a futon, a game area with table and chairs, a laundry room, and a dedicated work space.

This 4,256-square foot, 3-level home boasts 3 bedrooms with queen beds upstairs, a recreation area with 2 daybeds downstairs, a sleeper sofa, 2 full kitchens, a deck off the sunroom, and a deck off the master bedroom. The home is secluded at the edge of a small town and is bordered by a creek. Hillsboro has a dinner theater and cafe. Turkey Run and Shades State Parks are nearby as are Wabash College and Purdue University. Easy access to Interstate 74. Firepit, wood and charcoal grill on site.

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Newly renovated 1 bedroom loft in a historic building in Waynetown. Large open living space with plenty of space to relax, hardwood floors and original woodwork. This property too unique to describe properly. Waynetown is 1 mile from Interstate 74 for easy overnight access. No traffic, no light - 2 minutes and you can get gas before you get back on the highway. There is a gas station, grocery store, post office and bank all within walking distance of the unit. No smoking or pets.

Located one block from the soon to be refurbished downtown, 6 min from the Badlands, 3 min from Harrison Hills Golf course, and further afield Turkey Run and beautiful Parke County are an easy 15 miles. We love the quiet charm of small town Indiana and know you will too!
