Jerry's Bar is a family owned Northern Liberties gem. The bar is large but welcoming and the bar tenders know their craft. I also recommend the food . . . especially the pierogies and the brunch menu. Sit at the bar, upstairs in the small bar or outdoors. You will love it.

Sightseeing
Enter the bridge via the Old City walk way around Race & 4th Streets. Walk at least 1/3 or the way toward NJ and take in the stunning views of Philadelphia. If you only have time for one activity this is the one I recommend.

This park is one block away from our home and it is the diamond nature spot of Northern Liberties. While it may not be huge it does have something for everyone. From babies to elders everyone is welcome and everyone will find something interesting . . . . take a peek at the community garden, chase butterflies through the community flower triangle or check out a local theatre performance at the stage. Better yet just pack a snack, sit and breath!
