Everything here is amazing. The historic brick walls are exposed and gorgeous. The bar is beautiful and everything on the menu is delicious. I usually choose the sirloin with a calamari appetizer. Get the Caesar salad for starters. It's excellent.

The big race days are the Colonial Cup for families and Carolina Cup for adults, but there is always something to see. The rolling pastures are idillic and always feature someone out exercising a picturesque horse. There is even a yearly Springdale 5k where runners can take to the race course on foot.

The Revolutionary War site in Camden is a beautiful place to visit anytime, but during the summer the grounds often host gourmet meals and events. Most are in support of a charity, so it's an even better reason to join a 5 star event.

Ask to view the information on the Children's Home on Fair Street and the curator will bring you tons of old newspaper clippings and other details about the historic orphanage you're staying in on Fair Street. There is also a selection of historic artifacts in the back of the building with a rotating exhibit.

There is also a selection of historic artifacts in the back of the building with a rotating exhibit.
