Sightseeing
This is a village in the Peak Park only a few minutes drive from the B&B or catch the 61 or 62 bus from Hillsborough interchange hop on and off at Our Cow Molly, then The Plough, The Nags Head or The Old Horns for food a lovely walk round Dam Flask or a visit up the thill to St Nicolas Church High Bradfield
The 61 bus goes from Hillsborough Interchange, opposite the Rawson Spring Pub.
Catch the Tram from Hillsborough park (bottom of the road) 2 stops
Or walk down Dixon Road turn right and a short walk to to Hillsborough interchange
It goes via Wisewood, Loxley, Bradfield, Dungworth and Stannington, arriving back at Hillsborough 40 minutes later.
The 62 does the same route in reverse. There is a £2 all day ticket available so that you can get off and on at any point. In effect, the buses are less frequent in the evening but run hourly in both directions through the day.
Warning: late at night the bus can run ahead of timetable, so you either need to get to the stop five minutes early or let the driver know which bus you are catching so that he waits for you.
