Gimli first came about when European settlers “Icelanders” who were part of the New Iceland made settlement in Manitoba. The neighbourhood is very family friendly and can get busy during the summer months! It has a movie theatre, bowling alley, many restaurants, the beach and so much more!

Another great area to go check out. They have a wonderful boardwalk by the beach, fun arcades, ice cream and live music!

Cute restaurant just north of where you will be staying. I highly recommend their “dirty fries” and a gourmet milkshake to wash it down! They also have VLTs and alcohol available.

Known well in Gimli as one of if not the best restaurant in town. Highly recommended.
