Danny is always quick with a joke that will put a smile on your face and his partner and him make a very nice pizza or try out one of the locally brewed Hot water beach beer. Family friendly with a playground for the kids within sight of your seating and only 15 minutes from your accommodation.

Family friendly with a playground for the kids within sight of your seating and only 15 minutes from your accommodation.

Within an hours drive of your accommodation it is well worth the wait to get there. Stop off Lukes kitchen on the way home and grab your self a wood fired pizza that will blow your socks off.

Mount Paku summit. If you want to get a full view of Tairua this is the place to go. Situated on one of the highest walking points in Tairua this is a great place to take photos. Park your car on Paku drive next to the playground and walk the historical track up through the bush to the summit. Its worth the walk. Keep in mind this is an uneven walking track with steps but great to do the kids

188-226 Paku DrMount Paku summit. If you want to get a full view of Tairua this is the place to go. Situated on one of the highest walking points in Tairua this is a great place to take photos. Park your car on Paku drive next to the playground and walk the historical track up through the bush to the summit. Its worth the walk. Keep in mind this is an uneven walking track with steps but great to do the kids
One of the best places on the Coromandel Pennisula. Situated a short drive from Otama beach this place is great for diving, sight seeing and great for the family. A little under an hour and a quarter from your accommodation its well worth the drive and sightseeing on the way to visit this amazing place. Please note the road to this place is mostly tar seal but does have a few gravel areas along the way, the road gets quite high in places and is a little windy so not the best for the members of the family that easily get car sick. Some beautiful views along the way though.

Opito Bay
One of the best places on the Coromandel Pennisula. Situated a short drive from Otama beach this place is great for diving, sight seeing and great for the family. A little under an hour and a quarter from your accommodation its well worth the drive and sightseeing on the way to visit this amazing place. Please note the road to this place is mostly tar seal but does have a few gravel areas along the way, the road gets quite high in places and is a little windy so not the best for the members of the family that easily get car sick. Some beautiful views along the way though.
Hahei Marine reserve is a great place to see all sorts of underwater life. Stretching nine square kilometers it in the 6th marine reserve in NZ and the first for the Coromandel. If your looking for a adventure snorkeling or diving this is a great place to start. Loads of fun for the kids and family. Please note there is no taking of fish or marine life from this area.

Hahei Marine reserve is a great place to see all sorts of underwater life. Stretching nine square kilometers it in the 6th marine reserve in NZ and the first for the Coromandel. If your looking for a adventure snorkeling or diving this is a great place to start. Loads of fun for the kids and family. Please note there is no taking of fish or marine life from this area.
If your up for a walk with a great view. Pauanui Summit is a great place to try. Situated at the south end of Pauauni beach and only 25mins drive from your accommodation. There is a parking area, toliets and bbq at the beginning of the walk and the views on the way are amazing. Be warned it is quite steep in places with some uneven ground but its well worth the look. there are several different track options ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours and at the end of your walk you can swim off all that walking in the Pauauni surf.

There is a parking area, toliets and bbq at the beginning of the walk and the views on the way are amazing. Be warned it is quite steep in places with some uneven ground but its well worth the look. there are several different track options ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours and at the end of your walk you can swim off all that walking in the Pauauni surf.
