Sightseeing
The old casino is an example of beautiful architecture. Once considered Romania's Monte Carlo and a symbol of the city of Constanța, the most-recent and modern version was built in Art Nouveau style, also being the most important Art Nouveau building in the country, designed and built according to the plans of Daniel Renard and inaugurated in August 1910. Plan an afternoon walk along the Casino, grab some ice cream and enjoy the sound of the waves.
Be careful and avoid pickpockets. Pack a small bag and keep it secure.

Taxis are cheapest and most reliable way to get around
Unfortunately Constanta does not yet have an Uber service, but the taxis are relatively cheap. Most taxis will accept cash only. with a typical journey starting at 10 lei (around 3 euros).
The safest way to get a cab is to call one of the numbers below and order a car to your address:

Be extra careful when getting into random taxis, as come drivers have been known to try and take advantage of tourists by charging extra.
