Historic market town set around a church with a lovely grassy area complete with picnic benches in summer months.
Weekly Thursday market 8.30am-1.30pm has fruit & veg, pies & pasties, Italian cheese, coffee vans & other odds & ends.
The town is home to several cafes & a few takeaways (most close at 9pm).
There are small shops in the centre & a large Tesco at the bottom of town (if driving follow signs to the railway station & turn off at the roundabout or on foot head down the steps opposite the church). Mole Avon, opposite the train station, has a surprising amount of useful things to buy!
