This is a theme restaurant based on the Andy Griffith Show. However, it is packed out every day with locals who come for the food, not the theme. Very well done American classics, they also have surprisingly good salad options.

Local hangout for burgers and soft ice cream, basically the same menu as Dairy Queen but significantly higher quality. Wildly popular with Avon residents, this is the first place I would recommend in town for burgers. One thing to note, they might be closed during the winter months.
