Stop by the State Theater home to the Traverse City Film Festival. Beaches are a quick walk from downtown. Bike rentals, paddleboard/kayak rentals are available from multiple vendors. TC has all of the big name stores you’d need during your stay.

Minutes to multiple hiking trails and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The beach in Empire gives you access to South Bar lake and Lake Michigan with parks for kids.
