Several local favorites listed here. If you’re interested in hiking - we have LOTS of options within an hours drive. We recommend the All Trails website/app which allows you to sort by distance and difficulty.
The only public access to Lake Jocassee. Arrive early on summer weekends as the park fills to capacity early in the day. Beautiful, clear water and multiple waterfalls.
