Food scene
South Haven is busy even during off-peak time. If you are interested in take-out, it requires planning that morning. Otherwise, you may find yourself scrambling as we have. On those days, we have always been able to get takeout from the local Mexican restaurants (Paraiso or Los Ranchos).
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is top-notch, they are known for their martinis, and the kids' menu is great too.

We love Cafe Julia's food. They have fresh squeezed orange juice every day and have several vegan options that we love.

Just one block away. Best kids french toast sticks. We have been known to order them as takeout. Call early though because they stop accepting orders when it’s busy.

We love to check out the library (it’s closed on the weekends). The kids section has coloring pages and bookmarks for them to paint. They also organize activities for the kids throughout the summer so be sure to check out the schedule! (Closed Sunday’s)
