If fishing is your deal there is lots of shoreline to choose from between both the Missouri and Heart Rivers. During the winter months grab your snowshoes and hit the trails.

Pack for the weather.
Summers are hot and winters are cold so pack accordingly.
Summers frequently find us on (or in) the Missouri trying to stay cool. Be sure to pack your shorts and sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
Winters can be bitterly cold especially with the wind. Layers and a long winter coat (with a hood) are helpful to keep the wind from getting down to your bones.
Gezinme
Having your own vehicle is best.
Bismarck does have a bus system but it's not very robust. Lyft and Uber do operate here but also not very robustly after certain hours at night. So having a personal vehicle to get you to and from your destination(s) is key. Traffic isn't an issue here as you can get from one side of the city to the other in under 30 mins.
