Located in historic Boykin SC, guests travel from all over SC to visit the Mill Pond. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious. This is that place you go to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones. Or, grab a seat at the cool bar next door and enjoy a superb meal solo. It's a little pricey but I have always taken food to go and always have had the best experience and food.

The Loopy Lemon is a rather new place on the Camden restaurant scene having started out as a Food Truck at our local Saturday Farmer's Market. This place is a MUST try!! It is in an old restored space and truly has the best "vibe" in Camden. If you are around on Thursday night, they offer a curry sampling and it is Ah-Ma-Zing!! Friday and Saturdays offer tapas style dining. They serve wine and local craft beers as well as a wide selection of teas and fresh lemon and cucumber waters. Tell them the Red Roof Loft sent you!!

The burgers are out of this world and the owners are dear, friendly people with a heart to please. BSL has been operating in Camden for 40+ years--they truly have perfected the smashed burger!! Breakfast is yummy , too!!

Work up an appetite with a walk in the beautiful Kendall Park across the street (it's got a great soft track and runs right along Kendall Creek) and then head to the grill for lunch or breakfast. This small business family is community minded and can often be found cooking for local fundraisers. And let's talk desserts--OMGee!!!! Pound cake, banana pudding, pecan pie, chess cake, coconut cake, German chocolate cake--the list goes on. Make right there on the premises fresh everyday. If you around on Saturday morning, you have to try the cinnamon rolls (strawberry or regular) but get there early cuz they go FAST!! You can even find them on FB and have them save one or a couple for you for pick-up!!
