The new trailhead is located just across the bridge leading out of town. This hike goes though old second growth rain forest that was saved from logging by the "Friends of Heybrook" ridge. It's the newest park in the state and has amazing scenery and en epic view of Mt. Index and Mt. Persis a the end.
