Just down the road in Elliott Street. Turn left out of the house, then at lights, turn right and go straight down, past Castrol service station and then prior to traffic lights is located on the left.

Lovely beach which is approximately 15/20 minutes from Papakura. Travel out of Papakura by turning left out of the house, then right at traffic lights into Elliott Street, then go straight ahead and through the traffic lights over Great South Road (Farmers on the corner). Continue straight over the railway bridge and at roundabout keep to the left. Follow that road and do not turn off, will take to Clevedon, then straight ahead and on to Maraetai.
Very pleasant drive along little cove/beaches.

Travel out of Papakura by turning left out of the house, then right at traffic lights into Elliott Street, then go straight ahead and through the traffic lights over Great South Road (Farmers on the corner). Continue straight over the railway bridge and at roundabout keep to the left. Follow that road and do not turn off, will take to Clevedon, then straight ahead and on to Maraetai.

An amazing trip out to the lighthouse which is at the head of the Manukau Harbour, where flights into Auckland go right over. Stunning views. Many beaches to visit at the Hands, the furthest being Wattle Bay and Orua Bay. Others are Big Bay, Grahams Beach, Matakawa.
This is a definite if wishing to view stunning New Zealand scenery.
Plus.... only 40 minutes from the home.

Manukau Heads Deniz Feneri
759 Manukau Heads RoadAn amazing trip out to the lighthouse which is at the head of the Manukau Harbour, where flights into Auckland go right over. Stunning views. Many beaches to visit at the Hands, the furthest being Wattle Bay and Orua Bay. Others are Big Bay, Grahams Beach, Matakawa.
This is a definite if wishing to view stunning New Zealand scenery.
Plus.... only 40 minutes from the home.
Only 15 minutes from the home is Hunua Falls. This has a waterfall which is amazing after rain. A bush walk is able to be walked and stream etc.
Worth a visit especially if rain the previous few days.
If wishing a snack, then when you come to the right-hand turnoff to go to the Falls from the main road, continue on along the main road and just go on a little and around the corner in front of you on the right is an old petrol station with a tiny little shop/dairy... they have excellent food and worth stopping at if wishing a snack.
