If you walk through the Lowcountry Estuarium, you will come out beside a small cafe that serves breakfast and lunch, a coffee roaster/coffee shop, an ice cream hut (summer months only) and the location of the Historic Port Royal Foundation. Across the street are the post office and a pizza cafe. Go in the other direction and you will come to The Smokin' Plank (barbeque), Madison's Fine Dining or The Fish Camp (which has a view of the water in Battery Creek). Ride your bike, walk, take in the Sands Beach and boardwalk--spend a day or two just breathing in deeply of the salt air and deep quiet.
