Fantastic tacos y tortas. Great breakfast tacos y salsas. Castacan y Queso taco or the Chilibul taco are a must. So delicious. Definitely a favorite of the local Yucatecos.

Cute little place run by a Cuban family cooking their family recipes. Their son created the art the adorns the walls and their dog hangs out in the back and is available for pets. Open for breakfast and lunch. Only a few tables but I’ve never been turned away.

Fantastic french bakery and cafe. All the food is good. The baked goods are all on par with anything you’d get in France. Try the almond croissants! Lovely atmosphere.

Definitely what and where the locals eat! Super economical. We always get the family style meal or Trompo Especial, which feeds 4, but we like the leftovers! Very inexpensive & good value. Great location. You can walk off your meal at the Plaza Grande, just a block away.
