Beach House
The Jericho beach house is fully equipped, centrally located with 1 1/2 private acres right on the exquisite turquoise sand & waters of Tar Bay - with gorgeous views of the most popular beachfront, located conveniently between the airport and George Town. Jericho is secluded, private and on a end cove of the beach, shared with a handful of other beachfront homes. The house has its own beach access, is well elevated and private above the beach for extensive views with an elevated deck right above the beach. An abundance of Palm trees cover the lawns & property for the true island experience with coconuts and papayas to be enjoyed in season

The floor plan allows for two separate Air conditioned guest suites - each with their own en-suite bathroom. Guests have the choice of how many suites (with en suite bathrooms) are required when booking depending on the number of guests in the group booking. This allows for optimization of expense when couples or a single is booking & only need one suite (not all suites).
Booking is driven by guest count, please book with the correct group size and email us for additional /special suite requirement if required when booking. The first suite accommodates the primary 2 guests with a queen bed, the other suite accommodates additional guests ( from 3 to max 5) with an additional queen bed and second twin bed.
Arriving with more guests than booked will cause delays in addition to proper fees for guest count and a possible service fee to return to open the unhooked additional suite. Suites are normally locked and opened for arrival based on specific booked guest numbers.

Property Layout - Exclusive use
Your group booking will have exclusive use of the whole property (double booking of suites for separate groups not allowed) .
If a single suite is booked for up to two (2) guests, it remains exclusive, not other guests will be on the premises while you have exclusive use.
(The owners do have a completely separate private area with its own patio and the locked garage - it is private and excluded from rental access) - the owners will not be on premises while your booking is honoured

House Utilities
Air Conditioning: Room dedicated ductless units to bedrooms and main lounge (Electrically powered and Expensive). Please close all room doors and windows while occupied and cooling. Please run no more than two units at a time!
Sewage System: The house has a septic system and does not process anything else but ONLY human waste, water and paper.
Please do not flush ANY FOREIGN matter (sanitary towels etc) down the toilets or any strong chemical or poisonous substances that will kill bacteria and stop the system from biologically operating at optimum.
NOT A CITY sanitary system, be careful

WiFi, TV & Communication
WiFi needs time to re-setup following power outages, (intermittent) be patient please.
SMS, Whatsapp and Skype works for connecting to contacts (WiFi or LTE - Sims available in town)
Local TV (Limited US & Canada Channels) is connected.
Select the appropriate source to the TV with the remote. HDMI Sources are for:
1. Roku Streaming Player, 2 DVD Player with some streaming channels.
Stereo powered Loudspeakers are provided and connect using a 3.5mm jack that fits audio devices.
Please turn All electronics off when not used and especially when departing. Thank you!

Essential Courtesy Supplies
We don't restock courtesy supplies to kitchen and bathroom after arrival. Soaps, Detergent, Toilet paper etc. It will be stocked on arrival and at departure - limited extra will be in place in bathrooms.
Please ensure your own supplies for duration of visit.
Groceries and beverages.
Upon departure we leave behind non perishables and some beverages in kitchen for guests. Most guests do the same. It helps - especially on Sundays when shops are closed.
We encourage "paying it forward", buy extra basics and then leave it behind sealed, helping out guests that may find it helpful.

Water toys & snorkel gear
We don’t supply any, (personal hygiene and size issues prevail)
Top II Bottom shop in George Town supplies a range of water toys.
Please note: Do not store or keep water toys in lanai, screen room, or laundry closet – please store them cleaned below deck while here or discard them with garbage when leaving.
We have no use for them, nor do we intend cleaning or maintain them in various sizes etc.
If you feel they can be re-used and are cleaned/deflated , (as a courtesy to guests) and universal fit in good condition -
Please store all below lanai screen room deck in closet below.

Kayaks & Floation Vests
We don’t supply any, (ours were lost with life vests – 2018 guests forgot to tie them down on the beach)

Other Sundry Supplies
We also leave behind sufficient excess supplies for the convenience of guests in various places like:
Non perishables, spices and paper towels in the kitchen, batteries for remotes in lounge, lighter, fire starter and charcoal briquettes for Weber BBQ and Laundry detergent in the washer closet, etc.
It is intended for your use, but please replenish with sufficient extra, when it is finished - it is convenient and intended for the comfort of all guests

Additional Small Appliances
In addition to the AirBnB list of food storage and prep utensils, please note the following:
Coffee Maker/s - Drip Peculator, Keurig K Cup and stove top espresso coffee makers in pantry - however limited choice K Cups and espresso on the island. Electric Coffee bean Grinder if you need one for beans.
High speed blender for Daiquiri's etc, Toaster and Waffle iron for breakfast treats and hand mixer for the baker in your group.

Suites with en suite Bathrooms
The air conditioned bedroom suites each has its own passage entry, new white louvered plantation style room furniture set with a queen bed - memory foam mattress, twin large nightstands with bedside lamps, a large dresser with oversize mirror & overhead room fan.
Each private en suite contains a bathtub, (in tub shower), a sink with vanity closet and mirror, a toilet, a vanity light and a hair dryer with protected outlet & full towel set, with door for privacy.
The first fills - toilet paper, vanity soap and and other initial courtesy items are provided. (Future top-up by guests)

Laundry
The house has a automatic washing machine in the laundry closet on the north side of the house. (no dryer). A clothes drying line is on site for drying laundry. Electrical power is expensive and drying clothes using a dryer is not a cost wise option. There are laundry service providers on the island if prefferred.
