Since it opened in 1959, Phoenix Art Museum has become the largest art museum in the southwestern United States providing access to visual arts and educational programs in Arizona. In the last fifty years millions have visited the museum to view the over four hundred national and international exhibitions it has hosted. These are shown alongside Phoenix Art Museum's collection that has grown to over seventeen thousand objects of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern and contemporary art, photography, and fashion design.

Dobbins Lookout is one of the best views over Phoenix, especially at sunset, and it's incredibly easy to get to. Located on Summit Road in South Mountain Park. This makes it a decent outdoorsy activity even when temperatures are far too hot to hike.

This Western-themed restaurant, bar, and banquet hall nestles in the hills near the Arizona Grand Resort. Make sure to snap a picture with Horney, the bull. Just don’t get too close; he’s real.

Need to get from the airport to your destination? It will cost you $2 if you take Phoenix’s Valley Metro light-rail system. The cost of an all-day pass is $4. Convenient transportation to the airport comes by way of PHX Sky Train. This driverless people mover transports Valley Metro Light Rail passengers to the airport from the 44th Street/Washington Street station.
