Maybe the peak attraction in Zion is the Narrows. This beautiful slot canyon is not an easy hike. You will be in the water most of the hike and be cautious, the rocks are slippery. This is definitely a popular hike and I would recommend getting and early start. Make sure to check bus schedules as early as possible and always check in with the visitors center for water levels and safety information before starting the Narrows.

About 15 minutes from our casita is Zion's Kolob Canyons. Just hope on I-15 going north and keep an eye out for the signs! Right off the freeway, yet hidden from view are these spectacular Canyons and hikes. It can be a quick trip from the house, or spend several hours exploring the trails!

About 15 minutes from our casita is Zion's Kolob Canyons. Just hope on I-15 going north and keep an eye out for the signs! Right off the freeway, yet hidden from view are these spectacular Canyons and hikes. It can be a quick trip from the house, or spend several hours exploring the trails!
The canyon overlook is a great way to look out over Zion and only have to hike a short way. Heading East through the park the hike is located directly on the far side of the tunnel. You will see a small parking lot as well as additional parking up the road. This is a beautiful trail and is only about one mile.

There are three sets of pools, the first being the easiest to get to at just over half a mile one way, and the most difficult being the upper pools. Here you will find greenery, Redrock Canyons, amazing views, and beautiful creeks.
