With 8 acres to stroll around in and so many meandering paths through the trees, this is a great place to get exercise outdoors and reduce your stress levels. There's wide trails in some areas, paths thru the woods in other areas, and a section of Boardwalk. It's all natural with wild orange trees interspersed in the woods. Most of the walkways and trails are shaded. There are little rivers and ponds with walkways built across. Lots of wildlife, especially birds (but no alligators to worry about)!
A favorite attraction at Hammock Park is the lovely butterfly garden — an ideal spot to watch natural beauty take flight!
It's best suited for walkers, trail runners, bikes, and dogs on a leash. Paths are not paved or very level, so accessibility could be a problem for some individuals.
It's free to enter, take your own water and mosquito defense.

Great shopping for natural sponges, shells and jewelry. Some terrific boutique shops as well. Dine on authentic Greek cuisine at many good restaurants around town. Don't forget to visit the Greek market!
