Favorite Beaches on St. Thomas
Lindquist Beach: 5 mins. from Sapphire, Lindquist is perfect for a quiet, secluded , and gorgeous day at the beach. There is an entry fee ($5)cash only...No concessions so plan to bring the cooler/chairs/beach towels that are provided in our condo.

10-15 mins. from Sapphire; located next to Coral World Ocean Park ; beautiful white sand, great for snorkeling, lively crowds with music and food, can get crowded... Plenty of vendors, home of the Coki Dive Center

20 mins. from Sapphire: Magens Bay is world famous for its' mile long pristine beach. The park has three bath houses, lifeguards, food and beverage concessions, public safety security, nature trail, kayak rental, and taxi service.
There is a $5 fee for adults, free for children 12 and younger, and a $2 parking fee

Home to Secret Harbour's Aqua Action Dive Center, offering watersports rentals, diving and boating excursions ( snorkels, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, rafts/floats, etc. Lounge chairs/umbrellas can also be rented for $10 a day. For information about excursions, scuba, etc. go to aadivers.com

5 mins. from Sapphire: Red Hook is the unofficial town of the East End; has many bars and restaurants that are within strolling distance to each other. There are three grocery stores; Moe's Fresh Market, the Food Center, and a smaller convenient type store, Sami's Fresh Mart.
Also in Red Hook is the ferry dock to St. John and the British Virgin Islands; adjacent to the American Yacht Harbor. A day trip to St. John is one of our family's favorite activities. Tickets for the ferry can be bought ahead of time online. See photo for ferry times. A few of our favorite beaches on St. John are Maho, Trunk, and Honeymoon. End the day with a taxi trip up to The Windmill Bar for spectacular views of the sunset. St. John is also known for its' hiking trails....Download the St. John Experience App for info on restaurants, maps, beaches, etc..
