A Conneaut favorite - this place is hugely popular in the summer! 50s style drive in with great food, milkshakes, and homemade root beer - try a root beer float! My favorite meal is a turkey sandwich with gobble fries and a peanut butter milkshake.

I love this place, and I am not a huge fan of BBQ. Great location, right on the water, with lots of outdoor seating and live music in the summers. They offer a variety of sauces to try with the smoked meat of your choice. Try the cornbread!

The best beach in the area, in my opinion! Huge beach, lighthouse, playground, concession stand, restrooms, a gazebo, plenty of parking, paved walking trails, basketball courts, what more could you need for a day at the beach? My only complaint - it's not dog friendly (sorry).

Lake Shore Park has a small beach, but it's still one of my favorites because of the huge gazebo with hanging swings. It's a great place to watch the lake and the wind surfers and enjoy the breeze with your favorite book. This park is also super kid friendly, with a huge playground and two ponds full of ducks and swans that you can feed. There is a network of paved walking trails all through the park as well. Horseshoe, volley ball, bocce, disc golf, boat launch, car shows, a concession stand - what else could you need? No pets allowed - sorry...

It's a great place to watch the lake and the wind surfers and enjoy the breeze with your favorite book. This park is also super kid friendly, with a huge playground and two ponds full of ducks and swans that you can feed. There is a network of paved walking trails all through the park as well. Horseshoe, volley ball, bocce, disc golf, boat launch, car shows, a concession stand - what else could you need? No pets allowed - sorry...
The nearest boat launch to the house. The port authority also has a fuel dock and kayak rentals available.

There is a paved trail along the peninsula for walking or bike riding, and bikes are available to rent. You can also rent kayaks and explore the lagoons. Erie, PA has lots to offer as well, in terms of restaurants, night life, shopping, and outdoor activities.
