This place is my favorite local spot. I moved to this neighborhood with the dream of being able to walk here. They have great sourdough bread, focaccia, and other groceries and wine. Their sandwiches, pizzas and salads are amazing. You can eat there, or call ahead and pick up in about 20 mins.

Awesome burgers & fries, and they make their own bacon. Their BLT is well known in the city. Its just a small window to order and then there are some picnic tables outside for informal dining.

The "Central Park" of Toronto but its in the west end.... Its a great stop for kids with many playgrounds and water park, zoo, bike paths, running paths and trails. Great for picnics if you need a break from the city. I take my dog to high park nearly every morning!

This is our neighbourhood and I really like living here. Its a nice midway point between some excellent areas, has a lot of great restaurants that aren't as expensive as touristy areas, t and trendy and independently owned shops. Just a nice livable vibe here.

This is the closest little bodega convenience store/grocery store to the house. Its not fancy or well reviewed but if you want something close and easy, its your best bet! just 100m south of the house on the corner of Symington and Wallace.

The LCBO is the "Liquor control board of Ontario" it's our government run chain of liquor stores. Since covid they let more people sell from their restaurants, which has carried on, but for the most selection you have to go to the LCBO. (this is a weird Ontario thing, and not a Canadian thing)

This is the closest full size grocery store, up on Dupont, about 500m away. Strangely, I've never been here, but I hear its decent! I have a car so I go to my favorite grocery store Fiesta Farms.

A little brewery just down around the corner on Wallace. They make all their own beer you can go in and try them at the bar, they are very knowledgeable. They are super nice people. Has a small patio out front if the weather is nice, right by the railroad tracks
