Great local pizza shop and they even deliver! They have basic and more creative pizzas to suit all tastes! Try a dessert pizza! They are a hit with the kids!

Great food with an Asian flare. We love this place for their steak and laksa! Be mindful though that most dining is outside so can be rather warm in the more humid months if you are not used to the humidity. Great views if the boats at the marina.

These produce markets are worth a visit if you fancy fresh seasonal fruit and veg at really cheap prices. I recommend going early as this is a fav for the locals.

Great safe swimming place to take the kids! Entry is free.
Close by parking is at a fee but try parking at the end of lagoon Place ( near the council building after hours and on weekends as this is free!

Awesome fresh water swimming hole. A great local secret! Shhh. You do have to drive on an unsealed road for a few kms however 4WD is not needed. There are plenty of Bbqs, toilets and areas to rest. Great for families.

This a a great place to visit with the family. They have a very informative tour and loads of crocs! You can even hold one! Our kids loved it! One word of caution though, if you are going on a hot day make sure you take a hat as the tour is outside and you walk around and there is little or no shade on the tour itself.

9 Stones RdGreat place to wander for a few hours. In the process of being updated with dinosaur walk, mini golf etc. Make sure you are there at 1pm to get close up and personal with various creatures, including snakes, lizards, birds etc. Locally owned and run for many years.
This lookout is a great spot to not only see turtles swimming in the sea but it also has great views of the islands. It is a bit of an incline and is not a concrete path but has well spaced steps. If you are feeling more energetic you can continue on the walking track and do a full loop around the Bluff. It is a lovely walk but you do need a reasonable level of fitness to do the loop!
