Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve is a 635-acre wildlife preserve located within the city limits of Hillsboro. It is open to the public and is a great place for hiking, bird watching and viewing wildlife in its natural habitat. The Education Center is also a great resource for learning and research.

This 38 acre nature park is a treasure of Hillsboro - providing unspoiled recreation and wildlife viewing opportunities. Paved and soft-surface paths lead through open and wooded natural areas with viewpoints, boardwalks and bridges over Rock Creek. Benches are provided throughout the park along the paths. There is also a reservable picnic shelter. The park can be accessed from the north off of W Baseline Road, and from the south off of SE Borwick Road. Restrooms and drinking fountains are available.

This is a classic touristy spot to hit up if you want to look at the beautial Multnomah Falls. Great hike up!
