The park also offers a kayak launching area (you will need to rent a kayak from a local outfitter). If stand-up paddle boarding is your thing you're in luck. The park has a SUP rental kiosk! There is also a small fishing pier next to the water access on the bayou. Nice calm water without the high volume boat traffic.
