Food scene
If you’re vegan or only eat organic, this place is for you in addition to the organic health food store nearby. People from all over come here when they’re stuck on the 5 in the middle of nowhere.
The only thing is they personalize the menu and make everything from scratch as a family business, so depending on how much you order it could take up to 2 hours.
They have great desserts. My faves are the coconut tapioca pudding and the chocolate bark!

Oh man! We love the Nino Envuelto. While they cook traditionally, their menu is so succinctly different than other Mexican restaurants, and we’re from LA so we’d thought we’d seen it all lol!
Sometimes they have tamales verdes made fresh by a local.
We LOVE their drinks and their prices. Start the night off right with some good food, drinks, and people here. Such kind and awesome folks.

Our littlest sister has a sandwich named after her called the Carissa Rivette sandwich after she took the Falcons to championship as the MVP of a couple different teams. We obviously get that sandwich every time. They also have ice cream!

This is the only place in the area open after 9pm. You can meet Sue herself! Great place with locals. Pool table. Chill, not too crowded. Karaoke Friday nights!

Combine Cheers with Ace. Everybody knows your name. You can find a lot of local events going on here too, they always have classes and events on their door. Great community-oriented place and side note, their lightbulbs are awesome. There’s a color-changing bulb we used for our Disco Room!

Church
If you’re looking for a church, this is quite a beautiful and down-to-earth place to go. It’s close to come good restaurants, coffee shop, and the golf club too.
