South Florida is known for having great Cuban coffee! Casa Santiago is Kelsey's personal favorite. Great prices and nice people. You'll get to practice your Spanish as most of the workers don't speak English, which means you know it'll be good coffee! There's no wi-fi but Kelsey works there sometimes on hotspot, and snacks on ham croquettes and fueled by Cafe con Leche.

As a family ourselves, there are so many fun things we love to do! We homeschool, so we've been to so many amazing places in our neck of the woods. We'd love to hear how much you love them too!
Loggerhead is an awesome place approx. 45 minutes north in Jupiter, FL. We love going there to see the rescued turtles, baby turtles, and what the center is doing for conservancy in our area. It's FREE but donations are accepted. There's a private beach, playground, and gift shop accessible to guests.

The Jupiter Lighthouse is so beautiful to see up close and a historic spot for Palm Beach County. The museum is currently closed due to nearby renovations, but you can still take a guided tour and get to climb up TO THE TOP of the lighthouse! Military families are FREE to go. Check out their website for more info. We love it there!

The museum is currently closed due to nearby renovations, but you can still take a guided tour and get to climb up TO THE TOP of the lighthouse! Military families are FREE to go. Check out their website for more info. We love it there!

We love to do the drive-thru first, then the regular park, and then we normally end at the water park to cool off. So many animals and you can even FEED GIRAFFES there for a small fee. Great zoo to visit!

We recently took the kids here to learn more about our Palm Beach roots. For a 'fancy' museum, they've done a good job at making it family-friendly (ideally 7+ yr. olds) by providing a kids activity booklet and gift shop prize for those who complete it during the visit. Portable headsets allow for an educational self-guided tour. Located on the water and a nice spot for a picnic in the coconut tree grove. You can also purchase food at the cafe seasonally.

World-Renowned Snorkeling Destination!
We love coming here for a beach day and to snorkel! It's about 20' at its deepest, and we've seen the big orange starfish, manatees, seahorses, frogfish, tarpon, spotted eagle rays, and more! When you enter the park you can go to the west to park underneath the bridge which is great shade for while you're at the beach so no need to bring the beach umbrella.

We love coming here for a beach day and to snorkel! It's about 20' at its deepest, and we've seen the big orange starfish, manatees, seahorses, frogfish, tarpon, spotted eagle rays, and more! When you enter the park you can go to the west to park underneath the bridge which is great shade for while you're at the beach so no need to bring the beach umbrella.
They have rocks everywhere here which makes it great for snorkeling. There are also showers, bathrooms, and a play area close by.

Jonathan and Kelsey are both Royal Palm Beach locals having grown up here their whole lives. It has a small town with all of the big town amenities you'd want- beautiful and spacious parks, delicious eats, shops, and close-by museums, zoos, science centers, international airport, and downtown spots.
