This place is a local's favorite. Lots of deli selections and good, happy vibes. I was told by my friend about their homemade Burrito that is often out of stock before noon. When we head surfing to Manresa beach in the morning, we always drop by and grab a few of those and head to the beach.

Places walking distance
Everyone who visits Aptos may swing by this spot to choose the best scoop among the variety of flavor options! Their Ice cream is decent, nothing special to be frank ;) but made us happy that we have this place within walking distance, and made our children happy.

Casual Mexican in the neighbor. "Manuels" seems more popular in a way but we like Casa Rossy's friendly vibes and LOVE their shrimp & carnitas tacos. 🌮

Local thrift store. They run the store in Capitola for 65 (!!) years then move to Aptos. The selection of used clothes and accessories, and ceramics are unique and mint condition. You might find something charming to bring back home at this shop to remember your travel in Aptos.

Food scene
Definitely the pricy side of the restaurant in Aptos. Michelin Chef/Owner and their pizza got great reviews and I haven't tried it yet but people say their truffle pasta (tajarin) is fantastic!

Comfortable outdoor space, mostly adults but kids can go too. It's a little louder & on the pricy side. The food quality is great, consistent, fresh, and juicy. According to my husband, it's too much cheese but I think it's still OK.

Cakes!
Local's "go-to" place to get cakes, pastries and a nice deli menu!! We also love "The farm bakery" in Aptos, but if you can swing by Capitola, it's worth checking out & try :).

A very pretty local shop that offers yummy & beautiful cakes, and a nice breakfast menu. Their selections of gifts are all good looking so fun to have a look at.
