This has always been a family favourite location for a parkland walk.
As well as miles of path to explore there is also has an adventure play for the children and numerous cafes.
Pre-Covid there was a dressing up room which was fun, but not sure if that is open at the moment.

Very interesting and informative day out with exhibition and working demonstrations of the cotton mill. There are also workers cottages and park lands to explore

As well as the cavern there is a great walk up to Solomon's Temple from the car park at Poole's Cavern that gives views over Buxton including the Devonshire Dome.
