This is an amazing and cozy beer bar only a ten minute walk from the apartment. Beware, the beers are delicious but strong! It's great any time of year here, as they have outdoor seating in the summer, and a very hyggeligt (cozy) atmosphere inside for some afternoon or night time drinks!

Parks & Nature
This is a beautiful park that backs onto the zoo. You can even see the wild deers from the park without entering the zoo :) You'll smell them when you're getting close! Head there for a jog if you need some exercise, as the warmup along Vesterbrogade will only take about 5 minutes before getting into the park. If you're walking, expect it to take you 15 minutes to get there.

There are hundreds of deer you will see roaming on the property, it's truly a spectacle. There's also a beautiful old manor house here that makes it a really magical place to visit. Take a picnic or go to the restaurant on site that has beautiful traditional Danish cuisine.

Getting Around
You can rent bikes here for a reasonable price. It's by Dybolsbro S-train station (one stop after the central station), so it's convenient to return your bikes en-route back to the airport or train station when you depart. They've also got Christiania bikes to rent which are the cargo bikes to carry your kids or a family member who cannot ride a bicycle.
