Private beach ~25 minute walk from the house. Great to bike to; leave your bike or bike trailers at the bike rack located at the beach entrance. To enter the beach, tell the guard your name (your name has been added to the list as a renter) and that you are renting from the Galica Family at 7 Samoset Lane. Across from the private beach entrance is the Little Island Reserve (https://300committee.org/conservation-lands-2/little-island/), which is conservation land open to the public with equally beautiful views. NO PARKING is allowed at Little Island Beach (drop off via car is permitted, but BE CAREFUL when doing so as there are many pedestrians and bikers in the drop off area)

Well-paved bike path between Falmouth and the tip of Woods Hole—you can bike into Woods Hole restaurants and shops. You can access the bike path from the neighborhood. Look for the trail between ~129 and 139 Colonial Way. Walk your bike on that trail to the end. At the end of the trail when you hit another paved road, go left, and you will spill onto the bike path a few houses down.
