Route 302
Route 302 is the main north-south road from Portland to Naples and continues on toward Bridgeton, Fryeburg, and North Conway, NH. This stretch of roadway can become very congested on weekends and during weekday commuting hours. It's not impossible to navigate, but give yourself extra time to reach your destinations. Best to check Maps to account for traffic delays. Route 302 will have everything you are looking for right in Windham; and it's all within a ten-minute drive of the cottage.
