Farm, Orchard
Always a family favorite! We love stopping by this orchard in the fall to pick apples. It's a beautiful spot to view the valley of Charlottesville as well. Many people pack a picnic, however the apple cider cinnamon donuts they make on site are to die for! They also have on site hot apple cider, Bold Rock Cider, as well as wine. Beware, it is heavily crowded in the fall, I suggest going early or on a weekday in the month of October.

The eggs, local sauces, and other items sold on sight have all been delicious so far.

The grounds are well appointed and relaxing for a quiet spot to steal a moment or two to yourself. The staff is knowledgeable about the history of flora and fauna of the mountain. Lastly, they also sell local native plants that volunteers help propagate.
