This is a great hike with beautiful views! It's only 1.25 miles round trip. No reservation needed and its completely free. Be sure to bring water and use the bathroom before you arrive. It is located about a mile north of the dam at the Beehive Camping area (BLM land). The trailhead sign calls it "The Beehive Trail".

There is also a visitors center on the north side with great views behind the building. Weather you have 5 minutes or an hour, the dam is definitely worth a stop!

Please check local time!
Page is on Arizona/Phoenix time. Utah (less than a mile away) is on Mountain time. Cell phones will bounce back and forth between time zones. This can be a disaster if you have tours or flights booked. I recommend going to your phone's settings and manually setting the time to Arizona/Phoenix time.

Speed Limits
Please watch your speed! Speed limits in town change every few miles or less. Some parts of town are 15 MPH when school lets out because most kids walk/bike home. 25 MPH on the Glen Canyon Dam Bridge feels slow, but its very common for people taking photos and children on the bridge to walk out in front of you! The area is patrolled by US Park Rangers, Highway Patrol, Coconino County Sherriff Department, and Page PD. Please drive safe!
