We are big fans of the iced chai and iced coffee (we’re a cold beverage family). We love that you can peruse the books, meet with a friend, or just chill and people watch out those great windows.

Is it a nice day out? GO TO TREES. Seriously. This tucked away gem is a must. If you can sit out on their patio, you’ll have the sense of being up in the trees, looking out towards the forest. It’s beautiful, and if you make it out during happy hour (Monday- Saturday, 3:30-6) you’ll also get a great food & drink selection for a steal. So worth it.

This hole in the wall sushi place is our FAV. Only a 15 min drive away, it has really kind hosts, reasonably fast service, but mostly just delicious sushi. Our recommended rolls: Eel Katsu (YUM), Scallop Volcano, & White Roll.
