It's a good place for "Lunch". Many people are big fans of Indian "Thali". "Thali" is one huge plate with lots of different variety of food. It's usually unlimited food for one person, when you order a "Thali" . So if you are visiting India for the first time or never had a "Thali" before then I would say you must try that once. You can certainly find "Thali" at many other places in India. This restaurant is very close to my house. Like about 10-12 minutes of walking distance.

It's a little far from my place but the hotel has a good fine dining restaurant so if you want to taste good Indian food I strongly recommend this place. And specially if it's some of your family/friend's birthday do tell them as sometimes they play live music specially for the birthday boy/girl.

If you are going Ellora caves, I definitely recommend to plan a visit to "Mahismal Hill Station" as well. This place is indeed worth visiting while visiting Ellora caves. It's just about 40 minutes drive from Ellora caves if you are going by a car/cab. It's very difficult to find a bus or any other public transport from Ellora to "Mahismal Hill Station" , so I would recommend visiting this place only if you have a car. Also, plan to reach "Mahismal Hill Station" around 4:00 or 5:00 PM as once its dark, it won't be much of a fun to see this place. Remember "Mahismal" and "Mahismal Hill station" are two different places so please don't get confused with that.

This is a dam and there is a big garden/park "Sant Dnyaneshwar Garden" or commonly called as "Paithan Garden" very close to this Dam so if you are planning to visit this Dam, do visit Paithan Garden. This garden is famous for musical fountains. This place is in Paithan which is near to aurangabad, and its famous for pure gold Paithani sarees. Those pure gold Paithani sarees are woven there and then sold across different places in India. You may want to visit some Paithani Saree factories there or If you are really planning to buy one you can talk to me and I can guide you from which store you can buy. Its about 1 hour 15 minutes from my house so you can plan to leave early.

But even Siddharth Garden and Zoo is good for early morning walk.

Like Ajanta caves, Ellora caves is a world heritage site as well and a must see if you have come to Aurangabad. Also, if you are going Ellora caves, try to visit "Mahismal Hill Station" as well. It's just about 40 minutes of drive in a car/cab from Ellora caves. Please do read more details about "Mahismal Hill Station" in my guidebook under "Parks and Nature" section. Also, "Daulatabad Fort" is on the way while visiting Ellora caves, so you can plan your trip accordingly. Basically you can try to visit all three places, "Daulatabad Fort", Ellora caves" and "Mahismal Hill station" on the same day if you are starting your day early morning like around 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM.

This monument located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, displays the scientific thought process put in medieval Indian architecture. It was designed to generate energy via water brought down from a spring on a mountain.
