The outdoor bar where locals get together is wonderful. It's one of few restaurants located right on the Indian River. The food is good, mid range pricing. The Banging Shrimp Taco ($3) is my favorite.

This little place has great food! It serves wine and beer only but they best known for their Seafood Chowder. Really everything they have is fantastic. They have outdoor cafe style seating as well.

This is located in a National Park but also has a great Pancake experience. The restaurant has cook your own pancakes and eggs at your table. Super fun and everyone we have brought here loves it. They also have a great boat tour available while you wait. There is always at least an hour wait but there is stuff to do, or bring a book.

Super fun and everyone we have brought here loves it. They also have a great boat tour available while you wait. There is always at least an hour wait but there is stuff to do, or bring a book.
This is my favorite place to take people. I like the beachtown atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. They have a great variety of craft beers and the dessert is also good. I highly recommend the pulled pork nachos with a really cold beer!

OK, this is a favorite for anyone that comes to NSB. The burgers are fabulous but I really like the Blackened Mahi House Salad. It's first come first serve but the wait is worth it.

They have two bands going at night. One in the open air bar outback and one inside. It's a great place to dance and people watch! It also seems to be a gathering place for billiards.

We often come here for cocktails after dinner. It's one of two bars that serve a full bar. The atmosphere reminds me of MN. The food here is good as well.

The Marine Discovery Center is a education and restoration based center. There are a number of tanks that hold local sea/river life found in the Indian River Lagoon. They offer a daily 2 hr river cruise with very knowledgeable guides. They also offer a 2 hr kayak tour through the back waters of the Indian River. The guides are a plethora of information. Camps are available for kids of all ages during school breaks.
