Great for kids and adults, they understand that when you come with kids that kids meals are priority. There is a big open outdoor area where all sorts of activities from Cricket matches to frisbee happen. They also have a colouring station with pencils and colouring sheets to take back to the table. For Adults they have a great selection of boutique beers brewed onsite and the counter meals are great. they have an open fire going during the winter months and live entertainment most weekends later in the night. http://aireyspub.com.au/data/uploads/menus/dinner-menu.pdf

This is a fabulous spot to end the day with a drink in hand watching the sunset from the balcony. Then enjoy excellent food by local Chef Pia and her team in the communal dining area.

Modern Greek fine dinning, we have had some very nice nights out here both with and without kids. The outdoor area under the balcony is better suited to groups with kids as it has a large lawn area out the front. Check in advance during off season as it closes during winter. (03) 5289 6922

It Doesn't look like much but they normally do a great roast pork roll that you can have with gravy and salad or apple sauce. The coffee is OK and they do milkshakes. its good option if you have kids you can ether head behind the shop to the Painkalac Creek and eat by the riverbank or head over the Great Ocean Road to the kids park and skate park.

Parks & Nature

This is the local Beach to our house, Its about 400m walk and Its quite safe as far as surf beaches go. Its mostly local families and holiday makers staying nearby. You can walk along the clifftop to get here and the walk has stunning views. Please note: While this beach generally doesn't get really big surf or rips its still a possibility and if you are not experienced swimming in the surf please consider a patrolled beach with flags like Fairhaven, Point Road Night, Anglsea or Lorne within short driving distance.

WALKS: There are a few walks that start and there are BBQ and toilet facilities so you can end your walk with a cookup. There are more walks but two highlights are: Ironbark Gorge Walk (Distance: 5k, 2 hours return) is fairly easy but mostly uphill to the gorge. Currawong Falls Walk (Distance: 12km, 4 hours return) is a fairly challenging walk make sure you carry water and snacks, it encompasses the above walk

Shopping

This place stocks all quality essentials including a good selection of wine. They also stock Irrewarra sourdough bread which flies off the shelf during busy times so get in early. It's a bit on the expensive side so you're better off heading to Anglesea for a big grocery shop.
