Northampton. Can't say enough about this place. I love their food. Small, family owned Moroccan restaurant with beautiful Moroccan pottery decorating the walls. Menu is huge, with soups, stews, salads, meat, fish, chicken, vegetarian, crepes, desserts.
My go-to dish is the Mosaic Salad with Trout. Mm...

Terrific 300 degree view of the Pioneer Valley from a wrap around balcony attached to the former (1900's) Summit House hotel. Can hike up to the summit, or drive and park. Sometimes you can spot an eagle. Summit House also offers a summertime music series.

Lovely, quiet spot just down the road from us. Can walk the 1.6 level miles or take easy climb from parking to the top. Lovely (210 degree) views of Amherst area, including the University. Nice spot for a picnic lunch, watching the sunset, or just reading a book.

Beautiful greenhouses full of local and exotic plants. Amazing bulb show every April. From there, you can walk around the Smith College pond, the campus, or into downtown Northampton-just a hop, skip and a jump away.
