BEST LATE NIGHT CHINESE!! Had a late night at the bar/club?? Grab some Chinese food on the way home! There are oodles of restaurants to choose from on Spadina that are all open super late and catering to this crowd... but our personal favourite is the Cantonese Chow Mein at Swatow. Yum. :)

FIKA is one of my favourite cafes in Kensington. There are probably a dozen and they are all good! But I love FIKA the most. It's quiet and small. It's kind of hidden off the main strip so not everyone knows it's there! Their signature latte comes with Cardamom and it's delish! They also have amazing and fresh homemade baked goods. They're breakfast sandwiches are so good!! If its quality over quantity you want in your brunch, I definitely recommend this place.

It's kind of hidden off the main strip so not everyone knows it's there! Their signature latte comes with Cardamom and it's delish! They also have amazing and fresh homemade baked goods. We love this bar. They have a huge selection of craft beers. It's a big wide open space...and it's ALWAYS busy!! We love the food here too. It's top notch. The RIBS are amazing! And they have brunch too. :)

If a tiny hole in the wall type bar is your style, Ronnie's is it!! It's dark, its kinda dingy and smells like incense... and it's super cool! It's got an insanely busy patio in the summer months. It's also where I met the love of my life on a Tinder date! So it's no wonder that Mick and I love it so much. :)

69 Nassau StIf a tiny hole in the wall type bar is your style, Ronnie's is it!! It's dark, its kinda dingy and smells like incense... and it's super cool! It's got an insanely busy patio in the summer months. It's also where I met the love of my life on a Tinder date! So it's no wonder that Mick and I love it so much. :)

Lucky Moose is the closest grocery store. It's a part of Chinatown, so it has a lot of unique Asian foods. It's missing some of the staples you may find in other grocery stores, but it's great if you want to grab something quick for dinner....It has all the fruit/veggies you'd need and eggs etc.

Our local health food store. Super friendly owners. They don't have fruit/veggies anymore.... but any other quality or organic foods you'll need are there.

The closest big name Drug store is Shoppers Drug Mart on Queen Street. There you can get all your essentials...toiletries, beauty, etc. They even have a pretty decent grocery foods section.

Sightseeing
Kensington Market is just the best... for everything! It's the reason we love where we live! We go there to buy all our fruits/veggies, we go to hang out at the many coffee shops, to grab a drink at the many bars OR just for a walk to people watch. :)

The AGO is a Toronto landmark. It's a wonderful place to wander around. The architecture itself is beautiful let alone the art! I love to sit at the cafe in the atrium on the upper level. There you can take in the sweeping architecture of the space and look down on bustling Dundas Street. :)
