A lovely walk along the Esplanade and the walkway along the front from our apartment. Mareel offers stunning views across Bressay Sound as you sit in the bar and 2 cinemas for rainy days! Mareel offers snacks and coffee/teas as well as cocktails/guest beers in the evening. It is a venue for our folk festival 2-5 May and many other festivals/live bands throughout the year.

A stone's throw from our apartment, Peerie shop café provides the best cup of coffee and cakes, tastey breakfasts and homemade soups with sandwiches at lunchtime. Opens at 8 am which is a boon too!
