Lord have mercy. If you like authentic mexican food that is FULL OF FLAVOR this is the place for you. Our close friend Cris is from Puebla in Mexico. He cooks from his heart and you will love his playfulness with spices and flavors.

The Taste Box

They are the only game in town for coffee on Mondays and Tuesdays. GREAT six depot coffee. No espresso. Gianni will make you the most delicious morning omlette or egg n cheese. Dont miss his grilled cheese at lunch and there is a dedicated GLUTEN FREE option for those grilled cheeses!

Angus and Gray, the proprietors of our new People's Pub set the friendly tone here in our new, beautifully renovated town pub. Aside from having delicious cocktails (my fav is the BEES KNEES and my husband the Manhattan) they have an incredible chef from Brooklyn serving up delicious food. You'll find staples like wings and burgers here-- and a lot more. In January every Thursday is OYSTER THURS and it's 1.00 for a fresh shucked oyster. Add a martini and your are in for a great night.

Parks & Nature
Just around the corner you will find a small but surprisingly wild park with a few hiking trails. To access Borden Pond from our house, turn right or left out of our driveway. If you are walking up Austertlitz St take a right on Jones Ave. Down Austerlitz, take a left. It's the road right behind our house. Walk toward the tennis courts. past the Courts there is a yellow private home. You can walk through the driveway and to the head of the trail through their yard. This is public access but be kind to our neighbors and leash your dog.
you can take the low trail all the way to the end, where Rt 203 enters the town of Chatham. you can loop back through town.

Sunday's the Chatham Film Club plays an indie movie, and in October they host the Chatham Film Festival. Oh! And they have REAL BUTTER on their popcorn!
