Super pub, very smart inside with great food and atmosphere. Ideally placed close to Dovedale and Ashbourne and only a 10 minute drive through beautiful countryside from the cottage.

The closest pub to the cottage,a few minutes drive.Good pub food and atmosphere with great outside space in the summer Recommend for out of season as does get busy with camp sites close by.

Ashbourne is only 20 minutes drive away and has many great, individual shops, cafes, restaurants and delis and as well as the usual supermarkets.
Excellent store for local produce; cheeses, delicatessen, bread,general supplies, great coffee.
